What is this Free Gift?

     - It is the Gift of Salvation and Eternal Life.

    "But the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Who is this Gift from?

     - This gift can only be received from the Lord Jesus Christ.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life:
no man cometh to the father, but by me." John 14:6

     - Friends the gift of salvation cannot be given by a church or denomination.
        It must be received through Jesus Christ.

Why do I need this Gift?

     - No matter how good we try to live our lives, God's word states that all of
        man kind have broken the laws of God and have fallen short of His standards.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

     - The Bible says that when the first man, Adam, broke God's law in the Garden
        of Eden, it plunged ALL man-kind into sin and sin's penalty.

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12

     - This scripture clearly shows that all have sinned and that all must pay the
        penalty of sin. The penalty of sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.

"And Whosesoever was not found in the Book of Life was cast
into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15

     - Friends, we are thankful to say this does not have to be your end. There is
       a way to escape the penalty of sin.

     - God looked down through time and saw that man-kind was hopeless and
       there was no way for us to pay sin's penalty on our own. So, He sent His
       only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as a payment for the sins of the world. The
       Bible says that Jesus lived a sinless life. And then He went to the cross of
      Calvary acting as our substitute taking upon himself the sins of the world and
      died a cruel and forsaken death. The Bible says that three days later He arose
      from the dead and ascended into Heaven to sit on the right hand of God to be
      a mediator between God and Man. Friend, it is because Jesus died, you don't
      have to die. It is because He paid the price for sin, you don't have to pay this
      awful price. Because He is alive, you can live.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Who can receive this Gift?

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved." Romans 10:13

     - The whosoever in Romans 10:13 includes you. No matter how good or
        bad of a life you live. No matter your economic status. No matter the color
        of your skin. God has extended His love and the gift of salvation towards you.

How can I receive this gift?

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9

If you wish to receive the gift of salvation...

Go to God in prayer and say "Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do
not deserve eternal life. I believe You died and arose from the grave for
me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins, and
save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation,
and I accept your free gift of eternal life."

God has extended this gift to you, but you have the choice to accept the
gift or deny it. Friends, this will be the most important choice you will ever
make in your entire life.
